I posted about this as a rumor awhile ago, apparently it is real now

A win for both tcu and big east imo

It's a good move for both sides. Might help some of the Big East schools gain some recruiting traction in Texas.

Possibly, although at this current point I can’t picture any kid turning down a big time school in texas (or around that area) to come to a big east team, but maybe they can get some diamonds in the rough

Texas is so big and produces so many great players, there will be some good players that don't get offered but UT, A&M;, OU, OSU, Arkansas, LSU, TCU...lots to choose from. There will be some players that want to get away from home and playing in the Metro area of Dallas/FW at least once will appeal to some of those kids.

I’m sure they will get some left overs and once in a blue moon steal some stud, but I’d imagine the majority of those looking to “get away” would still rather go west or to big10.

Look at TCU's ranking now not being in an AQ conference..I think their recruiting will only get better due to this move. They also continue their chances at going undefeated during the regular season...

I bet that when someone starts looking at their travel costs (particularly in comparison to other schools) that they'll leave the Big East.

The thing is they were travelling far when playing in the mountain west... the only conference I think tcu would leave the big east for would be the big12. I think the big12 is currently content with 10 teams (all speculation by me)
